Felix Epp was born in 1989 in Tübingen. 19 years later, he graduated Wildermuth-Gymnasium with a main focus in music.
Following that, Felix started his studies at the Tonmeister-Institute at the Berlin University of Arts where, in 2016, he successfully graduated with the diploma in audio engineering.
From April to August 2014, Felix worked as an audio engineer at the Banff Centre in Alberta/CA. Here he worked on CD and video production as well as concert recordings in different genres like classical, jazz and pop.
At the 136th AES convention in Berlin, Felix took part in the student competition and won first prize in the „modern studio recording“ category.
In the winter semester 2016/17, Felix assisted in the Turmstudio at the University of Arts Berlin where he took part in the day-to-day running of the studio.
Felix lives in Berlin and works as a freelance sound engineer and recording producer.
